I create photographic images from my surroundings. They are visions of the every day. Light, tone, shadow and high key colour are important to these works, as they are often transformed into abstract pictorial representations of a fragmented moment in time.

The sharp lines of buildings or the twisted shapes of gnarled trees

become new forms in colour or black and white.
